In this blog, we’ll share some tidbits from various events from June to November, and where we’re headed next. If you haven’t had the chance to meet us yet, there’s still time in 2023.
JUNE:
Heartland RV Show – Goshen, IN
We kicked off a busy tradeshow season at the Heartland RV Show, where SmartPlug representatives showcased how our products revolutionize RV safety. It was a successful event and built the momentum for the remainder of our events for 2023.
66TH Annual Airstream Club International Rally – Rock Springs, WY
Next, we ventured to the 66th Annual Airstream Club International Rally where we featured our shore power solutions perfect for proud Airstream owners. Visitors learned about the 27x more secure connection offered by SmartPlug compared to outdated twist-type technology.
JULY:
S.T.E.P (Sales, Training, Education, and Purchasing) – Rosemont, IL
In July, we attended the 31st Annual S.T.E.P Purchasing event – The National Marine Distributors Association’s (NMDA) centralized location for manufacturers to introduce new products and programs into the distributor marketplace. We’re proud of our involvement with a prestigious organization such as NMDA.
AUGUST:
The RV Aftermarket Conference (RVIA) – San Diego, CA
From Illinois to California, from a marine industry event to an RV industry event, we were on to our next event! We attended the RV Industry Association’s (RVIA) premier event for suppliers and distributors to meet one-on-one in “appointment sessions” to pitch new products while taking advantage of key networking opportunities and more!
SEPTEMBER:
America’s Largest RV Show – Hershey, PA
At America’s Largest RV Show in Hershey, PA, we highlighted the superior safety of our products compared to traditional shore power connections. “Big Trucks Big RVs” stopped by our booth for an impromptu interview with Ron Bailey, our VP of Sales and Marketing. Ron provided him with a thorough explanation of how our products work, providing a side-by-side comparison to the competition.
Elkhart RV Dealer Open House – Elkhart, Indiana
Our SmartPlug team ventured back to Indiana to participate in the RV Dealer Open House event. The 3-day, dealer-only show featured a huge selection of RVs and more than 30 of the nation’s top manufacturers. This was the ideal event to get our products in front of RV dealers who care about keeping their RV parks better protected from RV overheating and potential fire outbreaks.
OCTOBER:
IBEX – Tampa, FL
October was all about our marine shore power solutions, starting with IBEX in Tampa, FL. Our team looks forward to a Florida fall trip every year to present the latest SmartPlug technology to the marine community. We enjoyed networking with the many attendees with various job roles who could benefit from incorporating SmartPlug into their boat designs, their stores, etc.
Annapolis Sailboat Show – Annapolis, MD
SmartPlug’s participation at the Annapolis Sailboat Show showcased our dedication to revolutionizing boat safety, providing a secure power connection for sailors. The annual celebration of sailing featured floating docks lined with sailboats from manufacturers around the world. Show tents lined the shore, stocked with the latest in nautical gear and accessories, electronics, communication equipment, sails, rigging, education, charter companies, clubs, and more.
Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show – Fort Lauderdale, FL
It was back to Florida at the end of the month for the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Owned by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida and Produced by Informa Markets, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show Is the Largest In-Water Boat Show in the World! We’re proud to exhibit at this event each year and take time to enjoy the beautiful beaches while there.
NOVEMBER:
METSTRADE – RAI Amsterdam – November 14th – 16th
Tradeshow season is coming to a close for 2023, but it’s not over yet. This time we’re leaving the country to present SmartPlug to an international audience. Discover how SmartPlug continues to lead the way in marine safety at METSTRADE in RAI Amsterdam. Find us in Booth #05-312.
