One of the best places to visit in Maine is the Acadia National Park<\/a>, a favorite spot for many campers and one of the top 10 most-visited national parks in the United States. With its rocky beaches, lush forests, and towering mountains, Acadia is a nature lover’s paradise. Acadia offers a few options for campgrounds, however, all campsite reservations must be made in advance on the park’s campground pages – there are no same-day reservations and no campsites are available for request upon arrival. Additionally, all campsites must be reserved in advance within a 60-day rolling window.<\/p>

South Dakota – <\/strong>Like Yosemite, Mount Rushmore National Memorial<\/a> in South Dakota has been a traditional stop on the RV travel circuit. Cross it off your RV travel bucket list this summer and take in the majestic figures of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. Surrounded by the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, you\u2019ll appreciate the scenic drive. Reservations are not required to visit the memorial and there\u2019s ample RV parking.<\/p>

While in South Dakota, take in the beauty of nature at Custer State Park<\/a>, a 71,000-acre wildlife preserve with campgrounds, plenty of outdoor activities, and more.
