SPECIFICATIONS
Keep your existing cable and replace only the plug head. That way, you won’t need a new cordset.
First, remove the old twist-type plug head. Meanwhile, keep the existing cable intact.
Next, strip the conductors to the required length. Then, prepare them for the SmartPlug terminal block.
After preparing the wires, connect each conductor to the SmartPlug plug head. Additionally, follow the wiring diagram for the amperage in use.
Finally, seat the gasket and close the housing. Once completed, your cordset is ready for service.
Compatibility: This retrofit works with all SmartPlug amperages, including 16A/32A Euro and 30A/50A US models.
